Get your existing resume into Kazifi in under a minute. We’ll parse the messy stuff, tables, columns, weird formatting, and hand you a polished, ATS-friendly source of truth.
Before you start
You’ll need your current resume as a PDF or Word file. Kazifi reads both, including documents exported from Google Docs and most older templates.
If you don’t have a CV yet, you don’t need one, head to build from a few questions and Kazifi will draft one with you.
Uploading, step by step
- Open your dashboard and hit “Upload resume”: Front and centre on the home screen, or under Tools then Import in the top nav.
- Drop in your file: Drag it onto the upload area or browse for it. PDF and .docx up to 10 MB. Parsing usually takes 10 to 20 seconds.
- Review what we found: Kazifi splits your resume into sections, experience, education, skills, and shows them next to the original. Fix anything misplaced with a drag.
- Confirm and save: Hit “Looks good” and your CV becomes your Kazifi master profile, the source every template and tailored version pulls from.
Tip. Scanned PDFs (photos of paper resumes) parse poorly. If yours is a scan, export a fresh PDF from the original document first.
What happens next
Your master profile is now the single place you keep your career history. From here you can tailor it to a job, check your ATS score, or export an ATS-safe PDF.
Update the master once, and every version you’ve made stays in sync.
